About GIG GENIUS
Empowering refugee youth in Uganda through meaningful employment opportunities
Our Story
GIG GENIUS was born from a simple observation: refugee communities in Uganda possess incredible skills and work ethic, yet face significant barriers to employment. At the same time, there is a growing demand for reliable labor services across Ugandan communities.
Founded in 2023, our platform bridges this gap by connecting skilled refugee youth with households and businesses in need of services like housekeeping, plumbing, gardening, and cleaning. We provide comprehensive training, verification, and support to ensure quality service delivery while creating dignified employment opportunities.
Today, GIG GENIUS is transforming lives across Uganda, one job at a time. We're proud to be part of a solution that benefits both refugee communities and the broader Ugandan society.
